For the first time, Pacific West took part in INTRADE Malaysia 2009 which was one of the leading international trade fairs in ASEAN. This event provided the local SMEs avenues to establish new contacts and explore business opportunities.
The Inward Buying Mission (IBM) programme organised by Matrade was a unique feature of this trade fair which had attracted more than 750 International buyers from various parts of the world to participate in the business matching. Numerous enquiries including Ireland, India, Sri Langka, Hong Kong, UAE, US, Kosovo, Indonesia, Singapore & etc were received during the 2-days business meeting.
Other than providing sampling of our core products: the Tempura Fish Fillets & authentic Island Way Sorbet, we also served our newly launched microwavable fish – The Butterfly Cut Barramundi with fragrant rice. Come in 3 authentic flavours namely Tom Yam, Japanese Curry & Bean Paste, these easy-to-prepare and nutritious Barramundi fish were well accepted.
