Fobissea Games 2009

Well supported by enthusiastic participants from other international schools across Southeast Asia, the Fobissea Games which was hosted by St Christopher Primary School was carried out successfully on Jun 4 – 7, 2009. This event had brought in participants aged 9 to 11 from the International schools in Brunei, Japan, Philippines, Korea to compete the games.  The children were  accompanied by their parents who had not only cheered for their respective teams during the games, they had also enjoyed the scenic beauty and warm hospitality of Penang.   

The children, who had been training hard in the lead up to the games competed in athletics, swimming, T-ball and football over the three day event at different venues such as PISA, USM and the Penang Sports Club.

Promoted to foster camaraderie amongst students, teachers, staff and parents;  the Fobissea Games aimed to instill sportsmanship and respect for rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
