Pacific West once again successfully participated at Malaysia’s largest consumer food expo – iFOODex – which ran from 13 to 15 March 2009 at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA). iFOODex was held simultaneously with two other ever popular events — the 12th Battle of the Chefs &  the 100-stall Penang Local Delights.

Visitors to the Pacific West booth were treated to an array of delicious seafood as well as fantastic offers on PW products. Not only the special offer & mouth-watering cooked food, numerous of freebies were also given away to the visitor who purchased above RM 25. The PW teams also organized a few fun games like Jigsaw Puzzle, Mix & Match and Discover the Taste the World Loves (taste guessing game) to our customers. Customers were stood a chance to win a free PW set meal if they managed to complete the game within the stipulated time.





Pacific West Cooking Demo
This year PW proudly invited Chef Liang from Feringghi Garden Restaurant to demonstrate an unique recipe to cook PW products in Italian & Thai cuisine. Audiences were impressed with the creative cuisine.

12th Battle of the Chefs was fully endorsed by Tourism Penang; PW was one of the main sponsors. 5 contestants took to the stage to battle it out at Pacific West’s Seafood Cooking Competition held on 14 March 2009. The budding chefs produced a unique and delicious dish based around Pacific West’s Deep Sea Frosty Fish Fillets & PW’s Marinated Prawns. Goh Eam Seah from Shangri-La Rasa Sayang & Spa won gold in this competition.
